Although charmed by the steam balloon concept as such, he hadn't quite decided upon his proposed mission profile.... The mixture of Imperial and metric units is a bit unsettling.... He works in metric for actually performing his calculations, quite wisely, and then partly converts back into Imperial to explain what he is talking about to his public, perhaps wisely or perhaps unwisely. Also he seems to have forgotten the nitrogen in the combustion air.... Anyway, his heart was in the right place! I think his idea of getting a free hot shower upon landing might have proved a bit more than he bargained for in actual application....
